Aurexioo ("we", "us", "our") operates the PG Finder mobile application
("App") that helps users discover paying guest (PG) accommodations, save favourites,
send enquiries, and manage their stay as a tenant.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
By using the App, you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email, phone number, and password when you register or log in.
- Profile data: optional profile photo and city/state if you provide them.
- PG browsing activity: PGs you view, wishlist, search filters, and enquiry messages you send to owners.
- Tenant information: if you are assigned to a PG, we may show your room, rent, food menu, notices, payments, complaints, and extra food orders linked to that PG.
- Device & app data: device type, operating system, app version, and push notification token (FCM) if you enable notifications.
- Support communications: messages you send to us for help or feedback.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
- Show PG listings, photos, pricing, amenities, and availability.
- Send your enquiries and reviews to PG owners.
- Provide tenant features such as complaints, maintenance requests, food orders, and notices.
- Send important service notifications (e.g. rent reminders, notices from your PG).
- Improve app performance, fix bugs, and prevent fraud or misuse.
- Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only:
- With the PG owner of a property when you send an enquiry, become a tenant, raise a complaint, or place a food order.
- With service providers who help us host, secure, or deliver the service (e.g. cloud hosting, push notifications), under confidentiality obligations.
- When required by law, court order, or government authority.
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of Aurexioo, our users, or the public.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account and activity data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service.
Enquiry and tenant records may be retained as required for PG operations and legal compliance.
You may request account deletion by contacting us; some data may be retained where legally required.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens,
and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password
and keep your login credentials confidential.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- Access or update your profile information in the App.
- Disable push notifications in your device settings.
- Request deletion of your account by emailing us.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to legal limitations.
If you are in India, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-Party Links
The App may display PG listings and contact details managed by third-party PG owners.
Their handling of your data after you contact them may be governed by their own practices.
